The Design Studio
We are a POC female-owned and led team. Our design collective’s background and experience is deeply rooted in both luxury designer RTW fashion, and technical sports apparel design for some of the world’s most well-known brands. Creating in both traditional methods and 3D digital platforms, we pride ourselves upon technical precision and craft.
RUNNING ORDER engages in design beyond just clothing. Our interests extend into art, music, literature, film, and dance. We aim to amplify the voices and visions of other creatives and audiences in different fields, to define and build a community with shared values.
Where are you based?
Our fashion design studio is based in NYC. A wider network of talented individuals and creatives contribute to the visual design, art direction, and sales in Berlin, New York, London, Taipei, and Austria.
What is WWW by RUNNING ORDER?
Started in 2020 amidst a global lockdown during the covid-19 pandemic, WWW by RUNNING ORDER is a decentralized worldwide running club. Runners from Antwerp, Helsinki, London, Paris, New York, and Berlin linked up digitally to participate in weekly Sunday runs in their respective time zones.
Growing in reach, the club has members in Switzerland, Ireland, Taiwan, Canada, and so forth. While some cities have regular in-person meet-up locations, others are single individuals wherever they are in the world. Feel free to reach out and follow Instagram if you’d like to join the club.
Why rave music?
With early formative years based in punk, hardcore, and metal - our first introduction to industrial electronic dance music was in Berlin, Germany in 2012. The exact combination of overwhelming sound, rhythmic repetition, and an environment that manifests total visceral emotion, power, and physicality in one’s body.
We share and interact on the dance floor; unspoken understandings. We bond over our obsession for music whether in NYC, Kyiv, Berlin, Tbilisi, Shanghai, or CDMX: a worldwide community built upon self-expression through bodies in motion.
Why active sports apparel?
Sport and techno share similar functional needs: the ability to last a full 36-hr marathon, rave or run a 21.1km race the next day. Sweat at the club and sweat at the gym. We need to be comfortable and unrestricted in movement; our gear needs to work with us.
Frustrated with traditional gender binary offerings in silhouette, cut, and color for “men” and “women,” RUNNING ORDER challenges the traditional with a more unisex and androgynous style. Our “femme” specific collections is our response to (and in contrast of) the hyper-feminized pink identity dictated by mainstream sports brands. We offer an unapologetic aesthetic style without compromise on function.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept all major credit cards and Paypal. You may also opt to checkout with Afterpay, a service that allows you to pay 4 installments every 2 weeks.
Yes, you may purchase gift cards online and we will send it to you via email. Discounts and rewards are not applicable towards e-Gift Card purchases. Please note Gift Cards are final sale and cannot be returned or applied to a previous purchase.
How do I see the status of my order?
Once your order has been shipped, you will receive a shipping confirmation email from RUNNING ORDER which will include your tracking number. Please allow up to 48 hours for the tracking information to update. You can also check under “My Account” to see the status of your order.

How long will shipping take?
Once your purchase has been completed, an email confirmation will be sent to the email address that we have on file for you. This email acts as an invoice and includes your order number.
Once your order is placed, a standard processing time of up to 2 business days is required before the order is shipped out.
Shipments usually take 3-7 business days to arrive. Please note, time may vary due to weather, customs, or any unforeseen variables.
We do not ship to P.O. boxes, APO/FPO, Hotel Rooms, or any Temporary Addresses.
Do you ship internationally?
We ship worldwide. Shipping costs and international taxes and duties are calculated and collected at checkout.
How much duty and tax will I have to pay?
Duties and taxes are calculated on a country-by-country basis based on the items purchased, where they were made, where they’re headed, and the total order value. This includes the sales tax in your country and duties charged for processing by your country.
We are not responsible for the payment of such taxes and duties. We cannot mark the purchased items as a gift or claim lower values to reduce/avoid customs duty. How do I change or change my order?
For any request regarding order details, please contact us as soon as possible. Modifying or canceling an order is possible so long as the merchandise has not yet entered the packaging or shipment phases. Once your order has shipped, we cannot cancel the order or update the order details. If you have incorrectly entered shipment speed, addresses, or contact information, you will need to contact the carrier directly to resolve the issue and carrier fees for such changes.
What happens if my package is lost or stolen?
Once your items are shipped, we are not liable if they are lost or stolen. If your tracking number shows that your package was delivered but you did not receive it, please contact the shipping carrier for more information.
What’s your return and exchange policy?
You may return full priced items sold on runningorder.net within 14 days from the date of delivery for a full refund minus shipping ($20 for the USA, $40 for Europe, and $60 Worldwide), on the condition that the item is unused, in the original packaging with tags still attached. After this return window, your order will be ineligible for the return or exchange. Sales items are non-refundable but can be exchanged for store credit towards a future order.
We reserve the right to refuse a return that does not comply with the above conditions.
Where possible, we will either offer an exchange if there is a replacement available or offer to repair faulty items. When items deemed faulty cannot be repaired or the same item is not available, a full refund will be offered and we will arrange for the return of the faulty item.
You are responsible for shipping costs associated with returning any item. You can either ship yourself directly or the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund. Customs and duties costs, as well as the cost of the original shipment, will not be refunded. If the returned item gets lost or encounters any other issues during the delivery, please resolve it through the customer support of your selected shipping carrier.

How do I return my order?
To return any item(s) from your order, e-mail us at email@example.com with the following information:
1. Your name, address, and order number.
2. Please specify the item that you want to return/exchange and reason why (wrong size, not as pictured, etc). The product(s) must be brand new with original tag(s), label(s), and packaging(s). If one item is defective please include the description and photos of the defect.
3. Please allow our Customer Service team 48 hours from the time you email us to get back to you with a shipment label and return form. Kindly include the return form inside the package. If the product has been purchased from a retailer, please get in touch with the retailer directly for support.
Once your return is received, it will undergo a quality check. Please allow up to 7 days for this to be completed. Once items have passed inspection, the refund will be automatically applied to your original method of payment within 7 working days, subject to your bank's processing time.

When will my refund be processed?
Once we receive your returned item and it has passed a quality check at the warehouse we will issue a refund via your original payment method, please allow 5-7 working days for this to be processed.
Can I return products on Sale or Final Sale?
All items purchased on FINAL SALE cannot be returned. These items are not eligible for an exchange, refund, or store credit at any time. This applies to all items:
- Explicitly stated as a “Final Sale Item.”
- Marked down 30% off or more including promotional codes.
- Purchased as part of a promotional pre-order kit or package.
Where do I find sizing information?
Please refer to the sizing chart for the particular item you’re interested in.
Our sizing is entirely unisex.
We fit all our styles on both “male” and “female” bodies to ensure that it is a true unisex fit. Please note that we give both sizes as context. Please find the appropriate size and measurements that suit your desired fit best.
We recommend using a tape measure to find your perfect fit. If you're in between sizes, we suggest sizing down for a more compressive fit or sizing up for a more relaxed fit. If you are still unsure about what size you are, feel free to send an email to email@example.com.
How do you ensure an androgynous style/unisex fit that actually works?
We hear you. We see you. Ever shop in the “men’s” or “women’s” section and find that it doesn’t quite suit you? Our products are fitted on both 3D avatars and in real life to ensure a comfortable fit with consideration for body anatomies. Each step of the design process is fit and assessed on masc and femme models; we take in wear-test feedback across several body types to improve our designs.
How should I wash and care for my RUNNING ORDER?
Indicated below are general care instructions according to the fabric. For safe results, always test laundering on a small or hidden area of the garment first.
Please follow the specific care instructions indicated on the garment label. Always hang to dry as dryer heat compromises and deteriorates all elastic and stretch fabric over time.
How do you ensure your products are sustainably produced?
All of our synthetic raw materials suppliers are all or any combination of the following sustainable manufacturing certifications and qualifications: Blue-sign, Oeko-tex, Higg Fem Index, ISO 14001, SA 8000, ISO 9001, ISO 50001 We make no compromises there.
For our natural fiber raw material and manufacturers, they are WRAP Platinum, GOTS, and Fair Trade certified. Our cotton and fleeces have a traceable footprint from cotton farm, ginner, knitter, dyer, to factory. Our carbon footprint is considered for the transport and processing of our natural fibers and manufacturing.
Our factory partners are invested and interested in the well-being of their workers. Only with good working conditions and environments can quality products be made. All factories follow FLA Workplace Code of Conduct and compliance standards.
Are your materials / fabrics / packaging sustainable and recyclable?
Where possible without compromise for performance, our raw materials are all either recycled, bio-based, organic, or FC0 in DWR finish. We strive to only use sustainable and certified materials.
Our garment hang tags are printed on recycled paper with spot-gloss ink that can be re-recycled.
All of our packaging comes in bio-degradable and compostable mailers. To ensure that all labels and mailing accessories can also be recycled or composted, we print on compostable shipping labels as well. All corrugated cardboard both contain a majority of recycled material. The cardboard boxes are printed in North America (the USA and Canada) using materials sourced within each local region, resulting in a much lower carbon footprint.
